Examination Policy

Class I TO IX & XI In each academic session, there will be four Formative Assessments. In each assessment, two unit tests are conducted with a weight age of 10 marks each. The maximum marks for the Summative Assessment would be 90. Compartment would be given in one subject only

A student must obtain a minimum of 33% to be granted promotion. They should pass separately in theory and practical. Class –XII subject only Class –X In each term, there will be two Formative Assessments. The Summative Assessments will be of 80 marks. The students would also be assessed and graded upon life skill, attitude and values. The participation in school activities and the voluntary work done by the student will also be reflected in the Performance Record. Three Unit tests will be conducted, 2 in first term and one in the second term. In each of the examination, theory and practical exams are to be assessed separately. Use of Unfair Means Students found using unfair means during a test or a term exam will be marked zero in that subject. No retest will be held. Medical Problems If any student has a genuine medical problem and is likely to be absent for a test, an application must be submitted before or on the day of the test, a doctor’s certificate will be required. The case will be reviewed by the Principal and a decision for a retest will then be taken.75% Attendance is mandatory (Exemption of the same will be considered only on medical grounds).
